An Elite Group Of Business Leaders Join Gibson’s Board Of Advisors

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – 4/18/19 – Gibson announces the appointment of four members to its newly created Board of Advisors (BOA). Joining the Board are Mike Barton, Mike Cahill, Ron Kitchens, and Tiffany Sauder.

“For years, Gibson had a vision of creating an advisory board that could mentor our team with innovative ideas and business expertise—well, we hit a homerun with this group!” said Tim Leman, Gibson’s CEO. “Our Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, and Southwest Michigan markets are quickly growing, and it was crucial to connect our brand with thought leaders and industry experts on business development, innovation, and relationships. Bringing on a group of this caliber, to join the Gibson vision, will be a game changer.”

Each member is individually highlighted below.

Mike Barton – Industry Leader
Mike recently retired as President of Allstate Business Insurance, where he joined in 2012 bringing over 26 years of insurance space experience. He went to Allstate from Willis, where he served as Chief Executive Officer of the Human Capital Practice responsible for all aspects of the strategy and management of the business. Mike established broad based partnerships with the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention as well as NBC’s “The Biggest Loser.” He was named to Business Insurance’s list of “Power Brokers” and is a nationally recognized speaker on subjects ranging from reforming health care in America to business strategies for improving health, engagement and productivity. Prior to Willis, Mike was Vice President of Sales at United HealthCare (and its legacy company – MetLife).

Mike is on the board of the Sojourner Center, Allstate Foundation, and AIDS Project Arizona.

Mike Cahill – Fort Wayne
Mike is the President of Banking Services for Ruoff Home Mortgage. Ruoff employs over 600 people in 50+ offices in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan Kentucky, and Florida. He has held numerous leadership positions including, President & CEO at Physicians Health Plan, CEO of the AWS Foundation, and President & CEO at Tower Bank & Trust Company.

Mike is the President of the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana (7th largest JA organization in the country covering 30 counties in northern Indiana and southern Michigan), and a board member of the AWS Foundation and its NFP operating subsidiary, Anthony Wayne Rehabilitation Center. Additionally, he is on the board of the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, Dupont Hospital, and the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne.

Ron Kitchens – Southwest Michigan
Ron’s focus is to lift up leaders by accelerating their impact, influence and well-being in career, family and community. He is the senior partner and chief executive officer of Southwest Michigan First, an economic consulting firm, which has which has grown compounded revenue at 20% annually during his 14 years as chief executive officer.

In addition, Ron leads Consultant Connect and is the publisher of 269 MAGAZINE™, a board member of Impact Athletic, the past chair of the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts and a Trustee of Western Michigan University.

Ron is the founder of the leadership conference Catalyst University and the co-founder of NEXT, an invitation-only leadership symposium for global economic development leaders. He previously served on the staff of U.S Senator John Danforth, and he was an elected Alderman at age 21. Ron is author/co-author of three books, including the bestseller Community Capitalism and speaks globally on leadership, creating thriving, engaged, multi-generational teams and entrepreneurial cultures, and his new book Uniquely You will be released in 2019.

Tiffany Sauder - Indianapolis
Tiffany is the founder and President of one of the fastest-growing marketing agencies in the Midwest, Element Three. She started her career as a financial analyst with Eli Lilly and quickly decided that her ability to understand and the love of real time data could be used to develop distinct marketing strategies.

Tiffany is board member of the Orr Fellowship and Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and she has professionally and personally supported countless other not for profits in the Indianapolis area. She has numerous honors including, Indy’s Best + Brightest winner, Forty Under 40- Indianapolis, and Element Three has been on the Inc. 5000 list for five consecutive years as the one of the fastest growing private companies.
