The winds of change are blowing in our community. In my 35 years living here, after relocating from Tennessee, I have never been so excited and optimistic about our future. What could be more educational than a trip to a foreign country? Students can put what they’ve learned in language class to the test. They can see historical sites they’ve only read about. Even trying new foods, riding a bus or subway, or buying something in a store can stretch them educationally in ways no classroom could.
