How To Bring CLARITY

By Gibson on Jan 19, 2018 6:30:00 AM

Today we’re sharing insight from guest blogger, Mike Natalizio, CEO at HNI Risk Services. We hope you enjoy Mike’s wisdom and perspective.

Effective leadership is all about clarity. Being clear about where you want to go, what you want to achieve, and how you're going to get there.

This level of clarity doesn’t come from a "to-do" list of loosely tied together ideas that aren’t truly tied back to WHY you do what you do.

As business leaders, we all want our organizations to grow. Unfortunately, crushing your tactical "to do" list isn't going to deliver you to the fountain of perpetual growth.

The Bottom Is Not Falling Completely Out of The EEOC Wellness Incentive Regulations

By Gibson on Jan 8, 2018 6:30:00 AM

You’ve probably read or heard by now that in late December 2017, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeal (D.C. Circuit) vacated the EEOC Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) wellness incentive rules, effective January 1, 2019. This is true.

You may have also heard that this means the entire framework of wellness plans as we know them are now in question. This is an exaggeration.

We are going to examine the relevant parts of American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) v. the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), 1:16-CV-02113-JDB to help you sort fact from fiction and be better informed about what is coming in 2018 and 2019 regarding wellness plan incentive rules.
